IT'S ABOUT TIME...

Wow, I can't believe that it has been so long since we last blogged, sorry for all those who waited for such a long time...it will get better from here on out.

So, the latest wedding photos are in and boy, was that a tornado to get in and out in 30 minutes. Blair came to me back in August and asked Macey's to provide flowers for her wedding, so we went to work. I was so excited for this wedding that I spent PROBABLY too much time thinking about it (I guess I love my job). Well, the week came to begin assembling things and I got a phone call from my wholesale floral supplier and she said that the orchids (80 stems), couldn't get here on time because of the terrorist attacks in India...what does India have to do with Macey's? Well, it turns out that most of the orchids we see in floral arrangements, come from India and they had closed the airports. By some miracle, we found enough orchids to satisfy the need and went forward. Everything went perfectly, I only wish I could have got a better picture of the bridal bouquet, we just didn't have enough time to look at everything that we had just accomplished before we had to leave.
